Domain History
I've had a long history of domains since 2004: angelic-arrow.net, star-shower.net, fire-dancer.net, irisblade.org and ghost-lights.org. After-death.org had been my dream domain name for a number of years but it was always taken (and unused, of course). I happened to check to see if it was available one day and was beyond ecstatic when I was able to buy it in April of 2012. I still love the name and have no intention of ever changing domains again. I thought of the name when looking through my iTunes playlist and seeing a song called "After Dark." I'm a huge paranormal fan, especially with regard to ghosts and spirits. The name is oddly fitting for my collective as well since a number of characters I love continue to exist in their series even after death!
I consider the girls above to be the "heart" of the domain, as they are my some of my absolute favorite characters that remind me of the domain name. From left to right is Isayama Yomi from Ga-Rei, Kikyou from InuYasha, Enma Ai from Jigoku Shoujo, Kanoe Yuuko from Tasogare Otome x Amnesia, Hoshimura Makina from Shikabane Hime and Natsume Reiko from Natsume Yuujinchou.
Current Layout
Version eleven of the domain features Gojou Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen. All other aspects of the layout were made in the Mac version of Adobe Photoshop 2022. A special thank you to WeGraphics for a couple of the brushes, vanityandwax for a texture, and to Dafont where I downloaded the fonts used.Joined
